Every professional sport and every professional team has a web site providing schedule information, player statistics, stadium information, ticket prices and on-line ticket purchasing, latest results, history, and much more. In fact, there are so many excellent sports related Web sites that the list below represents only a tiny fraction of the total number.

The official site of the Boston Red Sox. Even if you're not a baseball fan, you'll find this technically sophisticated site fascinating. Select "Schedule" and a schedule (a printable version is available, too) for the season is provided; with the click of your mouse you can purchase tickets. Biographies, photos, and career and current statistics for each player are also provided. Click on "Fenway Park" and seating and pricing information are shown along with a guide to the ballpark, a history of Fenway Park, and ballpark facts. There's also an online Red Sox shop (have your credit card handy) and a link to the Minors.
